This art piece came to me after a week and a half of brainstorming. It represents all the barriers that get in the way of Mexican and other Latin and Southern American immigrants coming to the United States. In the lower front of the picture, is the actual border wall between Mexico and the USA. Beyond that, there are other walls in place that represent all of the mental, figurative, barriers that people have to cross to get to the so called “American Dream”. The barriers are documentation, racism, jobs, expenses, taxes, documentation follow ups, and the list goes on and on. While my personal views aren’t in the majority at AHS, there is a problem with how our country treats people who are trying to become legal citizens.

Robo En La Noche Final Project
In the first semester of Spanish 3, we read the book Robo en la Noche. Our final project was to make something based around the interrogation of one of the main characters. Ours was an interrogation of Cecilio.
